Ladies only

Boxing training will not only give you a great cardiovascular workout, it will provide you with graceful muscle toning, increased stamina, better coordination and an overall sense of fitness and well-being.

About the class

We offer a training and conditioning service that is second to none. Whether you are training for increased fitness, weight management or just to learn the basics of this fantastic sport, we can help.

Along with our friendly instructors we have a great group of girls training at our club. You will be made to feel welcome from the off.

What will I need?

You should ensure that you have:

  • Comfortable training clothes and footwear.
  • A bottle of water.
  • Warm, dry clothes to change into after the session is complete.
  • If you are intending to hit the bags or pads you should invest in some hand wraps (Our coaches can offer help and advice on wrapping your hands correctly).

Before spending money on gloves we have pairs available at the club that you are welcome to use while you are trying out the sessions.

So, how do I get started?

If you are interested, just come down to one of the classes and ask for Chris or Les.

Hiya – I would say the juniors class would be better for you Caitlin. There will be more people of your own age there.

Hello, I’m really unfit (medically fine) at the moment but looking for a different way to get fit and lose some weight. I have never done boxing before, would this class be suitable or is it for a higher levl of fitness?
    Thanks
    Jenny

      Hiya!
No, certainly not too old. Why not come into the club and have a word with our Head Coach? He will be able to give you the help and advice you need. All the best!
