The Gym

Empire HQ is, as Head coach Les Welsh puts it, 'a proper gym'.

In a climate of faceless, sanitised health clubs with expensive monthly fees, our self-owned gymnasium offers the authentic boxing experience. It's not only the old school character of the building that has our members hooked, but the characters that coach and train there.

We run various classes - All supervised by ABA qualified/CRB checked coaches. Whilst we are a competitive boxing gym, we have limited spaces available for those wishing to come along and simply enjoy the benefits that boxing conditioning has to offer.

Our gym has a large size drill room, with hanging punch bags, floor to ceiling balls and a speed ball. We also have two sparring rings. There are enclosed parking, kitchen and toilet facilites on site.
