Rules and standards
Our gym is a great place to be and the atmosphere is second to none. However, our standards are high and there are a few rules that we insist must be observed to ensure the safe, smooth running of the club.
Standards:
- Always give your best during training.
- No drama queens! No tantrums, grudges or agendas. We work as a team.
- Our gym is a NO CAN'T zone: No excuses. No compromises.
- As a club member you also represent our club outside the gym. Anyone caught fighting or causing trouble will have their membership cancelled.
General rules:
- Be on time: Don't be late for your session. Unless you love press ups that is
. - Don't park in the Head coach's car parking space. It's the one nearest the entrance.
- Show respect to the gym, coaches, your fellow gym members and visiting clubs.
- No hands in pockets.
- Pay a visit to the toilet before not during the session.
- Don't forget to pay your subs.
- Don't forget your hand wraps.
- You must help keep the gym tidy: Don't leave gloves, ropes, weights, clothes and water bottles lying around.
Boxing squad rules:
- If you are having a night off you must inform one of the coaches.
- If you miss the gym for a week without informing a coach you will be demoted from the squad.
- You must make yourself available to box at all times.
- If you are pulling out of a contest you must inform a coach as soon as possible.
